Turismo de Portugal, I.P.’s External Network

Turismo de Portugal has Tourism Teams in 22 priority tourism outbound markets, where the Institute develops and implements its international promotion initiatives.

The foreign Tourism Teams are responsible for institutional promotional activities and supporting Portuguese companies that have internationalisation objectives in the tourism markets of Germany, Austria (that also coordinates activities in Switzerland), Brazil, Scandinavia (including Finland), Spain, the United States (bhat also coordinates the Canada market), France, Holland (also covering Belgium), Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom.

In the Protocol signed between Turismo de Portugal, I.P. and AICEP, the Tourism Teams are included within the new Business Centres Network and also provide support to initiatives of interest in markets where there are no Tourism representatives, including Russia, Poland and Japan, where specific officials have been designated in order to support tourism initiatives.
