Managing Director of the Quinta do Lago Golf Company– 1972-1975 and 1982-1990 (management of golfing activities in the Quinta do Lago)

Director of Iberogolfe S.A.1991 – 1999 (Management of Beloura, Montado, Peru and Salgados golf courses – Promotion of international events)

Manager of Carmona Santos, Lda since 2000 (consultancy services for Golf projects – international events)

GGP – Portuguese Golf Managers Association - 2006. The GGP – Portuguese Golf Managers Association represents Golf directors and managers, and managers of institutions or companies directly or indirectly linked to Golf.


The association’s main objective is to promote training in the field of Golf. It also aims to provide information for the benefit of its members.

The GGP is a member of CAMAE – Club Managers Association of Europe, thereby enabling professional diplomas to be obtained, by means of a final examination, that are valid throughout almost all of Europe, the USA and Canada.




Key themes of Speech

• Presentation of speakers, moderator of the conference panel and a summary of the speeches from the perspective of his personal experience in the sector with special emphasis on aspects related to the management and sustainability of a golf course.
