Biographical Note

B. Sc. Hons. Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Universidade Nova of Lisbon and a Masters degree in Environmental Planning from Virginia Tech. He is currently concluding his PhD thesis on environmental certification and management systems of companies, also at Virginia Tech.

In the University of Algarve he is responsible for the disciplines of Appraisal of Environmental Impacts and Environmental Management and Auditing. He is a collaborator in the Algarve Regional Centre for Innovation where he manages the golf platform. In this framework, he intends to bring the University of the Algarve closer to companies connected to the Golf sector through the creation of a platform for technical-scientific consultancy and laboratorial services and foster applied research in the field of golf.
