Biographical Note

He was educated at Dr Challoners Grammar School. He went on to Leeds University to gain an Honours Degree in Sports Science and Degree with Distinctions in Physiotherapy.

He worked initially for CPMA Sports Marketing Agency as Operations Director working on Bell’s Scottish Open at Gleneagles, Rugby World Cup and World Chess Championships.

1993 joined PGA European Tour as Event Promotions Manager working on PGA Championship, English Open and Ryder Cup. He was appointed Deputy Managing Director of European Seniors Tour in 1997. In 2000 appointed Championship Director of World Golf Championships working on WGC American Express Championship 2002 – 2005 and WGC World Cup 2004 – Present Day - Omega Mission Hills World Cup in China. Recently he was appointed Director of International Championships, responsible for additional tournaments including Barclays Scottish Open, Estoril Open de Portugal and Portugal Masters.
