ART&TUR - International Tourism Film Festival is an initiative attended by hundreds of tourism film producers and directors from around the world.
This year's edition will be held in Caldas da Rainha, between 24 and 27 October 2023 and is an opportunity for the international promotion of the city, the Centre of Portugal and the whole country.
Since its 1st edition, which took place in 2008, in the city of Barcelos, the ART&TUR Festival has fulfilled its mission of making known to the world the best audiovisual productions in the field of tourism, made in Portugal and in the world, already integrating the international network of tourism film festivals CIFFT - International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals.
Now, in partnership with Turismo Centro de Portugal and several local institutions, an edition of ART&TUR is being prepared that aims to be more comprehensive in time and diversity of initiatives, proposing several challenges in the sphere of cultural promotion and tourism.
The festival, which is in its 16th edition, has an internationally renowned jury in the areas of film, tourism and marketing. The winning films are part of the CIFT network, which annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of these festivals.
The submission of films is done online through the festival's website, where you can consult the rules of participation. These can be made until 30 June, and in the first phase (until 30 April) they enjoy a discount.
