On a local contract basis and under Belgian local employment law, Turismo de Portugal, through its Netherlands and Belgium Tourism Team Abroad, based in Brussels, is looking to recruit a destination manager with the mission of promoting Portugal as a tourism destination.
// The role involves _ Defining and implementing a plan to promote Portugal as a tourist destination in the markets concerned
_ Promoting Portugal at B2B / B2C events
_ Accompanying groups of operators or media visiting Portugal
_ Producing content about Portugal, including newsletters and press releases
_ Maintaining a close relationship with tour operators, travel agents and the press
// Qualifications required _ Preferably a degree in Management or Tourism
// Candidate profile (M/F) _ Competence and technical aptitude to carry out the duties inherent in the position
_ Results-oriented ability
_ Organizational and planning skills
_ Good initiative and interpersonal skills
_ Proficiency in spoken and written English and French
_ Additional knowledge of Portuguese preferred
