The School of Hospitality and Tourism of Coimbra (EHTC), one of the schools of the Turismo de Portugal network, celebrates 33 years of activity on 29 November 2022.
In the ceremony to celebrate this anniversary, certificates and diplomas will be awarded to students who completed their training in 2022, from 7 classes of the courses of Kitchen / Confectionery Technician, Restaurant & Beverage Service Techniques and Kitchen / Confectionery Techniques (both in the On-the-job model), Kitchen Management and Production, Restaurant and Beverage Management, Cultural Tourism and Heritage, Hotel Management and Accommodation and Nature and Adventure Tourism.
The best students of each course will also be honoured, with the “model student" and “student of environmental merit" award. This moment, which will take place in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music of Coimbra, at 9.30 p.m., will feature most of the trainers who accompanied the training path of the new graduates.
It should be noted that the EHTC has in its curriculum four former students awarded Michelin stars, such as Ricardo Costa (The Yeatman - Vila Nova de Gaia, two stars), Tiago Bonito (Casa da Calçada, Amarante), Diogo Rocha (Casa de Lemos, Passos de Silgueiros - Viseu) and Filipe Carvalho (with Martin Berasategui, Fifty Seconds Experience, Lisbon).
