The School of Hospitality and Tourism of Lisbon (EHTL) celebrates 64 years of activity on 10 December 2022, during which it has come a long way, from 1958 to the present day, without ever losing sight of its great purpose: To Train the Future of Hospitality.
The
EHTL was the first in Portugal and is a reference in the professional training of the sector, but it is also a space for sharing, developing skills and knowledge for all those who have a passion for tourism and hotel business.
The Chinese proverb – “a flexible tree does not break" - fits the vision of the School, which has had the ability to branch out, but also to consolidate itself through the increasingly global challenges it faces, while maintaining its structure, values and authenticity to contribute to the development of new talents in the sector.
The focus remains on creativity, innovation, the culture of the Turismo de Portugal brand and the mastery of professional techniques. These dimensions are reflected both in the students and in the trainers, but also in the community and partners, through a set of initiatives and projects that are developed and hosted and that give this School a very dynamic and intense daily activity.
