The
School of Hospitality and Tourism of Porto (EHTP) celebrates its 54th anniversary on 13 December 2022.
The EHTP has been operating since 1969 and has established itself as a reference in hotel business and tourism training. It currently offers a range of courses that respond to the enormous current challenges, namely in terms of accommodation, restaurant/bar, kitchen, confectionery and tourism. These offers are concerned with training young people with higher academic qualifications who want to integrate the labour market in an intensive, fast, deep and specialised way.
Through the strategy “The Affirmation" (A Afirmação) which contains in itself the main lines of force that guide the activity of EHTP, a strategy based on the recognition and valorisation of those who train and those who are trained and on the excellence of the resources and methodologies made available, EHTP trains and qualifies several hundred students and professionals annually, training them for the main service activities with higher rates of evolution and demand, benefiting additionally from the quality seal of the Schools of Turismo de Portugal, thus pursuing its purpose of training professionals with high added value.
