The Directorate of People and Talent is responsible for developing and managing all of the Institute's human assets in order to meet the high level of professional demand in the sector.
This has been achieved through the promotion of flexibility in the organisation and rendering of work, as well as by means of the annual Internal Mobility Programme, “CresceRH”, which aims to foster the development of new skills by shifting employee roles.
The DPT has sought to invest heavily in the acquisition and improvement of skills and to promote the personal and professional motivation of all Turismo de Portugal employees in various ways, such as: access to partial financing of master’s, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in fields that are relevant to the organisation’s activity; the carrying out of various actions related to health and well-being; and the negotiation of a "Turismo de Portugal employee" benefits package involving a set of partnerships with external private sector entities, providing staff with more favourable conditions for accessing various types of services.
At the same time, better environmental, social and economic practices have been fostered, such as the reduction of plastic consumption and the implementation of the "Zero Paper" project.
