The Chairman of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo, received the Excellence Award, one of the Prestige categories whose winners are chosen by the Honor Committee of the AHRESP Awards.
The gala of the 7th edition of the AHRESP Awards, which took place last Friday, distinguished companies, institutions, establishments, regions, events, products, services and professionals in the catering, accommodation and tourism promotion sectors in Portugal. The awards gala gathered over 450 people at Pátio da Galé, in Lisbon, and was attended by the Minister for the Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, the Minister for Territorial Cohesion, Ana Abrunhosa, the State Secretary for Tourism, Commerce and Services, Nuno Fazenda, the State Secretary for Agriculture, Gonçalo Rodrigues, and the Mayor of the Lisbon City Council, Carlos Moedas.
