VisitPortugal launches a new international campaign, inviting you to savour Portugal through its unique cuisine. The latest campaign, centred on gastronomy as a reflection of Portuguese history, tradition and culture, invites you to taste and explore Portugal through a recipe that combines ingredients such as freshness, authenticity, creativity, sustainability and the generosity of the Portuguese people. Composed of a concept film and five videos dedicated to each of these themes, the campaign presents a rich visual narrative, alternating images of the destination with those of ingredients and dishes, taking viewers on a journey through the unique flavours of land and sea, the landscapes and authentic products of each region, and the culture and experiences of the communities, creating unique and memorable experiences.
Portuguese cuisine and wines have seen a growing and significant interest from the main source markets of international tourists, particularly from Germany, Spain, the United States, France and the United Kingdom, which are the target markets for this campaign.
As part of a broader plan for the internationalisation of Portuguese cuisine as a differentiating and attractive asset for promoting the destination, the campaign will be disseminated through digital media, on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Online Video channels, including the Connected TV format, in order to ensure a multichannel approach.
Under the motto "Portugal, an unwritten recipe", the campaign is a veritable journey through the five senses, revealing how the culture and traditions of a country transform gastronomy into an unparalleled art form.
