Turismo de Portugal has just won the Human Resources Award, in the category of Public Enterprise and SPE (public enterprise sector) in the ceremony that took place on 31 May at the Club - Monsanto Secret Spot, in Lisbon, in what was the 12th edition of these awards and the Institute's fourth nomination.
In total, 31 distinctions were awarded, 25 to companies and organisations and six individual awards, in this edition of the Human Resources Awards.
The list of finalists was determined, for each category, by the Editorial Board of Human Resources magazine and by the editorial staff. Voting took place between 31 March and 12 May, and the list of nominees was based on good practices, initiatives and policies of companies and institutions in Portugal, demonstrated and disseminated during the previous year.
This award awarded to Turismo de Portugal represents the recognition of the organisation's commitment to sustainability, the motivation of people and their continuous training, as well as the establishment of healthy routines at work, the implementation of labour flexibility and the maintenance of open and close internal communication, cultivating sharing, cooperation and dialogue.
