Travel Trade Markplace Canada takes place from 21 to 23 October in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver respectively, organised by Turismo de Portugal.
This event, aimed at professionals in the sector, allows Portuguese companies operating in tourism to have direct and privileged contact with some of the best tour operators in the Canadian trade.
The programme includes one-to-one meetings, where participants have the opportunity to learn about the latest market trends, present products and services, as well as take part in networking moments with professionals from a fast-growing market.
The first event, on 21 October, was attended by 21 of the main Canadian tour operators in one-to-one meetings, followed by an event for 130 travel agents which ended with a very Portuguese dinner. In Montreal, 110 agents took part, while in Vancouver there were 120.
There were 20 Portuguese companies (hotels and DMCs) and 6 Regional Tourism Promotion Agencies present in each of the cities.
