Find out the results of the national study and learn about practical solutions to accelerate the energy transition in the tourism sector.

// Study reveals positive developments in sustainable mobility in the tourism sector

In partnership with the Tourism Regions and ADENE - Energy Agency, Turismo de Portugal is organising the 2nd Cycle of Webinars Sustainable Mobility in Tourism, comprising seven regional sessions.

This initiative aims to publicise the results of the study ‘Sustainable Mobility in the Tourism Sector 2024’, drawn up by ADENE with the support of Turismo de Portugal, continuing the work carried out in the previous edition. The study shows a positive evolution in the sector's mobility practices, with emphasis on the growing electrification of fleets, the installation of charging points and the availability of soft mobility, such as bicycles and electric scooters.

// Sessions promote the sharing of solutions and good practices

The sessions provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the results of the study, learn about good practices in tourist resorts and local accommodation, as well as attend a presentation by Mobi.e on electric mobility. These presentations aim to support companies in implementing sustainable solutions, promoting the reduction of operating costs, access to funding opportunities and strengthening the competitive positioning of Portuguese tourism.

With this new edition, Turismo de Portugal reaffirms its commitment to climate action and the energy transition, encouraging the sector to adopt more sustainable mobility practices. Participation in the webinars is free, but subject to compulsory registration, and takes place between 10 and 17 November 2025.
