Turismo de Portugal won two awards, one silver and one bronze, at the New York Festivals® TV & Film Awards 2025, one of the most important in the audiovisual industry worldwide. The project "Portugal's Unwritten Recipe" was awarded silver, while "Portugal is Art" won bronze, highlighting the excellence and impact of promoting Portuguese tourism and culture on the global stage.
These two awards are part of the CIFFT Circuit (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) and were officially announced on the 22nd of May during the Storytellers Gala ceremony in New York.
The campaign "Portugal's Unwritten Recipe" is a veritable journey through the five senses, showcasing how our cuisine carries with it local culture and traditions and reflects the diversity of our territory, the creativity of our people and the talent of our chefs. It is part of a broader plan for the internationalisation of Portuguese cuisine as a tourism asset that makes the destination stand out and provides unique experiences for tourists.
In turn, "Portugal is Art" asserts that art is found in every corner and expression of Portugal. In the scenery, the culinary flavours, the force of the sea, the music festivals, the longstanding traditions and the creativity of emerging artists. In every detail, Portugal is showcased as an open-air gallery, where each experience - whether in nature or urban cultural centres - invites you to discover its artistic essence.
Both campaigns were disseminated through digital media, on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and online video channels, including connected TV, to ensure a multichannel approach.
